Job Summary McKee Foods is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team. The Social Media Specialist is responsible for the strategy, planning, creation, execution, and analysis required to represent and grow our brands on social media. This includes the research and selection of social media platforms as well as the platforms used to deploy the content. They assist in developing and implementing strategies that support Marketing goals and objectives through social marketing efforts, which include platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok as well as influencer collaborations for those channels. They will also oversee the selection and management of influencers for all McKee Foods' consumer brands. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following. Work with manager to develop and continually optimize the social media strategy Develop and maintain social media marketing calendar and content development based on the brand team's need Work with qualitative/quantitative consumer research to draw actionable consumer centric insights and convert them into actionable business strategies Build and maintain influencer relationships that are aligned with brand plans Work with the brand team and agencies on the development, measurement and optimization of social marketing plans Ensure campaigns are implemented, tracked correctly and running optimally through analysis based on pertinent factors (ex: device, demographics, geography, customer segment, etc.) to target KPIs Develop reports on, maintain, confirm and continually audit all social channels Follow consumer privacy policies along with brand, regulatory and industry standards Analyze engagement statistics and identifies areas to optimize performance of media mix Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, PR, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (2 years of experience = 1 year of education) 1 year of intern or professional experience in social media Ability to build and maintain relationships with social media communities Experience with the administration of marketing programs across multiple social channels Experience with campaign measurement and analysis Preferred Qualifications 3 years (level II) to 5 years (level III) of related professional social media experience Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Canva experience Strong familiarity with Google for Business Content creation experience Benefits Competitive weekly pay Profit-sharing cash bonus program 401(k) with matching contributions 25 days Paid Time Off (for vacation, holidays, sick time, personal time, etc.) Medical insurance, including health, dental, vision and prescription drug plan Supplemental plans, including life insurance Fully-paid parental leave Health Center and Pharmacy Mental wellness counseling (on-site in TN, virtual elsewhere) We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
