Content & Social Media Specialist

About This Role We are seeking a creative, organized, and highly motivated Content & Social Media Specialist to join our team in Seattle. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and has a passion for storytelling, content creation, and social media engagement. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing compelling blog content, drafting standard copy, creating engaging visual media, producing short-form videos, and managing day-to-day social media operations across multiple platforms. Responsibilities Content Creation & Copywriting Write, edit, and publish blog articles, website content, landing pages, and promotional copy Develop compelling written content aligned with brand voice and marketing goals Research industry trends and create relevant, SEO-friendly content Assist with email marketing copy and campaign messaging as needed Social Media Management Manage and grow organization presence on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok Plan, schedule, and publish social media content consistently Develop creative campaigns to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement Track performance analytics and recommend improvements based on insights Visual & Video Content Production Create original graphics, photos, reels, and short-form videos for social media and web use Edit videos optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook Assist with photography, brand visuals, and marketing assets Maintain visual consistency across all platforms and campaigns Qualifications Experience managing business social media accounts professionally Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills Experience creating visual and video content for social media Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc.) Understanding of social media analytics and engagement strategies Knowledge of SEO best practices preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Preferred Experience 2+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media management Experience producing content for consumer-facing brands Portfolio showcasing writing samples, graphics, photography, and/or video work What We're Looking For Creative thinker with strong attention to detail Strong visual storytelling instincts Self-starter with excellent time management skills Ability to incorporate AI into workflow ethically and effectively Passion for fast-paced social engagement Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Collaborative and energetic work environment Insurance, generous paid time off, 401(k) matching, and additional benefits available based on employment status To Apply Please submit: Resume Portfolio or examples of relevant work Links to social media accounts or campaigns you've managed (if available)
