Role Description Baratza is looking for a Global Social Media Specialist to help bring our brand to life across social platforms and connect with coffee lovers around the world. This role is responsible for executing Baratza's global social presence—from content planning and publishing to community engagement, creator collaborations, and performance tracking. This role keeps a close pulse on social conversations and emerging trends across culture, coffee, and adjacent lifestyle spaces. Honing a discerning eye when and where the Baratza voice can authentically and meaningfully participate to create timely, high-impact brand moments. Working closely with Global Brand leadership, Product Marketing, and regional partners, this role ensures Baratza's social channels consistently reflect our commitment to quality, education, and community within the specialty coffee world. The position plays an important role in supporting product launches, campaigns, and partnerships while maintaining a thoughtful, knowledgeable voice that resonates with both new and experienced coffee enthusiasts. This is an ideal role for someone who combines strong executional skills with creative instincts, platform fluency, and a genuine passion for specialty coffee and storytelling. Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or lifestyle company.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing social content across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, platform formats, and creator-driven storytelling.
  • Experience managing editorial calendars, scheduling tools, and content workflows.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to maintain a clear and consistent brand voice.
  • Experience engaging with online communities and responding to audience interactions in a professional and brand-aligned way.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners. Preferred
  • Experience in premium consumer goods, food & beverage, lifestyle, or specialty categories.
  • Familiarity with specialty coffee culture, brewing methods, or the broader coffee ecosystem.
  • Experience working with creators, influencers, or brand partnership content.
  • Comfort reviewing basic social analytics and translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Experience supporting social content around product launches, events, or marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities Global Social Execution & Editorial Coordination
  • Execute Baratza's global social media strategy and editorial calendar, ensuring content aligns with brand priorities, product roadmaps, and campaign timelines.
  • Manage day-to-day content planning, publishing, and global distribution for product launches, brand campaigns, and evergreen storytelling.
  • Maintain Baratza's brand voice, visual standards, and specialty coffee credibility across all social platforms. Community Engagement & Specialty Partnerships
  • Execute Baratza's community management approach, engaging with audiences, responding to conversations, and helping maintain a welcoming and knowledgeable brand presence.
  • Coordinate Beanz.com roaster relationships with Beanz, helping develop and activate the "Platinum Roaster" content program to showcase craft, partnerships, and shared values.
  • Coordinate Baratza's creator and influencer collaborations, working with BRG regional channel partners, PR partners, and agencies to support consistent and high-quality storytelling. Social Partnerships, Events & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Execute social content for collaborations, partnerships, and cross-brand moments, ensuring alignment with broader brand initiatives.
  • Support social promotion for global events and trade shows, creating and distributing content before, during, and after key moments.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Content, and regional teams to activate social content that supports product launches and GTM initiatives. Performance Tracking & Content Optimization
  • Track and report on monthly social performance, including growth, engagement, and content effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for paid boosting and amplification of priority content in partnership with marketing stakeholders, supporting Global Brand Manager in paid media strategy and execution.
  • Use performance insights to help optimize content formats, storytelling approaches, and posting cadence.
