Job Description

Position Summary River Valley Remodelers is seeking a creative and motivated Digital Media Specialist to capture, create, and manage engaging content that showcases our projects, team, and brand. This role is responsible for producing high-quality photo and video content, supporting social media initiatives, and helping tell the story of our company across multiple markets. The ideal candidate has a passion for content creation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Content Creation Travel to project sites to capture photo and video content of remodeling projects Create content featuring team members, customers, company culture, and community involvement Capture content at company events, trade shows, and community outreach activities Operate company-provided cameras, drones, and other content creation equipment Edit and produce high-quality content for social media, websites, digital advertising, and marketing campaigns Maintain an organized library of digital assets and content Marketing Support Collaborate with the marketing team to identify content needs and opportunities Assist with content planning and content calendars Stay current on social media trends, best practices, and emerging content formats Coordinate content capture schedules with production teams and project managers Provide creative ideas to support marketing and branding initiatives Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a good driving record Willingness to travel locally to project sites and events Strong organizational and time management skills Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Experience creating content for social media platforms Experience with photography and/or videography Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Education or experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Photography, Videography, or a related field Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software Experience managing social media accounts and content strategies Drone certification or willingness to obtain certification Experience in the home improvement, construction, or remodeling industry Please submit a portfolio of past experience along with resume!
