Life is a northeast San Antonio based life insurance company with an emphasis on providing excellent customer to policyholders/customers, agents, and the GPM Life Team. GPM Life employees work 39 hours a week Monday-Friday. (5-hour workday on Friday!)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 2-3
years of administrative/clerical experience preferably in a life insurance company. Strong computer skills including Word and Excel. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must interact well with others. Must be able to work with demanding customers.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Responsible for developing full proficiency in Agent Onboarding and Terminations, compensation/hierarchy/contract maintenance, as well as ensuring compliance with state Departments of Insurance and GPM Life internal operating procedures. This position will also cross train with and assist Agency Administration and handle administration duties regularly. Job duties/responsibilities for
Onboarding & Termination:
Responsible for contracting, appointments, and reinstatements for agents and Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs) to include requesting all applicable due diligence (background check) reports, appointment fees, related forms, and preparation of contracts for processing. Responsible for handling/processing state appointments to meet compliance regulations for all states/jurisdictions with certain requirements. Maintains various associated department logs. Process termination of agents for Lack of Production (LOP) or other necessary reasons. Manage monthly LOP report. Communicate with field leaders, before executing agent terminations. Responsible for both setting up agent payment arrangements and admission of debit balance information for collections, rolling unpaid balances to agent's upline if not paid and/or reporting to Vector. Responsible for reconciling monthly Vector reports. Job duties/responsibilities for
Agency Administrative:
Apply critical thinking and operational expertise to identify, analyze, and correct legacy workflow inefficiencies and process gaps. Assist agents with commission questions, explaining where statements are located on Agent Access and how to read them as well as how to calculate commission amount. Explain how commissions are paid, research discrepancies and request adjustments when needed. Assist with coding and documenting all department credit card payments. Process agents Direct Deposit, log agent in spreadsheet and code LSP and scan agent file. Assist with maintenance of state regulation files for advertising, errors and omissions, and replacements. Assist with maintenance of inventory, distribution service, and updates to GPM Life's promotional catalog and Agency materials library. Assist with processing Supply Orders for agents and employees. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school education or equivalent. 2-3 years of administrative/clerical experience preferably in a life insurance company. Strong computer skills including Word and Excel.
