Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Martial Arts Instructor to inspire and empower students of all ages through martial arts training. In this role, you will lead engaging classes that promote physical fitness, discipline, confidence, and personal growth. As a key member of our health club or sports facility team, you will create a positive learning environment that encourages skill development, respect, and teamwork. Your expertise will help students achieve their goals while fostering a safe and motivating atmosphere. Duties Lead martial arts classes focusing on techniques such as Karate, Judo, and other martial arts disciplines for diverse age groups Develop customized training plans that cater to individual skill levels and learning objectives Demonstrate proper form, safety procedures, and behavior management strategies to ensure a safe environment Incorporate related activities like swimming, climbing, or sports coaching to enhance overall physical education programs Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements to boost confidence Maintain cleanliness and organization of training areas and equipment Collaborate with parents, guardians, or program coordinators to communicate student development and address behavioral concerns Qualifications Proven experience in martial arts instruction, with proficiency in Karate, Judo, or similar disciplines Prior experience working with children or students in a sports or physical education setting Strong background in teaching physical activities such as swimming, climbing, basketball, cheerleading, or gym-based fitness Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster respectful and disciplined class environments Lifeguard experience is a plus for facilities offering swimming programs Excellent communication skills to motivate and engage learners of all ages Certifications in martial arts teaching or coaching are preferred; CPR/First Aid certification is highly desirable Join us as a Martial Arts Instructor and make a lasting impact by guiding students through exciting physical challenges while promoting health, discipline, and confidence!
