Job Description

Diagnose various automobile system failures based on input from the service writer, customer concerns, experience and working knowledge of automobiles. Perform vehicle test drives with customer as required to better understand the nature of their concern(s). Communicate written findings and recommended repairs and/or maintenance with the service writer. Make timely and efficient and effective repairs as authorized by the customer and the service writer. Perform appropriate test drives to both confirm customer concern as well as verify the repair. Perform minor routine maintenance on equipment used to perform maintenance and repairs
IE:
A/c service equipment, alignment equipment, etc. Keep your work area cleaned and clear of clutter and debris Qualifications Personable and team minded Punctual and reliable Own your own hand tools Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques and practices Proficient in the navigation of web based diagnostic information programs
IE:
Identifix, etc. Proficient in the proper use of computer based diagnostic testing equipment Strong electrical/electronic diagnostic and testing capability Strong working knowledge and experience with automotive repair tools and equipment
IE:
A/C machine, alignment machine, etc. Skilled in vehicle maintenance and powertrain systems Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and wiring schematics Basic working knowledge of diesel engines including maintenance for them Excellent customer service skills and experience with most vehicles Summary As a Master Automotive Repair Technician, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive issues, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and safety as well as customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Service Manager, your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance will be vital in delivering high-quality service. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and equipment repair will foster strong client relationships and contribute to our commitment to excellence in automotive care.

From $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
