We are located in Ventura, California, one hour north of Los Angeles, midway between Malibu and Santa Barbara. Position Overview This is a full-time bench jewelry position focused on making "made-to-order" jewelry and setting custom pieces. You'll be working alongside a small, skilled team in a spacious, well-equipped workshop that includes a draw bench, rolling mill, laser welders, a casting area, and enclosed polishing stations. Your personal work area includes its own microscope and every tool you need. As our first Master Jeweler, you'll play a central role in upholding and advancing the quality standards that have made Our Store a success story. Key Responsibilities Made-to-order production:

Execute pieces from start to finish: from prepolishing raw castings through final polish, ensuring every piece meets the highest quality standards before it reaches the customer Fabrication & finishing: Proficient in the full production process, including casting preparation, assembly, filing, prepolishing, and finish polishing to a flawless end result Stone setting: Expert-level setting in all styles: prong, bezel, flush, channel, pavé, micropavé, and bright cuts, with the ability to set large center stones as well as melee with precision and consistency Colored stone & specialty setting: Comfortable working with a wide range of gemstones, including high-value and fragile stones such as emerald, tanzanite, opal, and sapphire Quality control: A keen eye for detail at every stage of production, ensuring each made-to-order piece reflects the brand's standards before shipment Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Bench Jeweler, producing and setting stones Expert stone setter with extensive experience working with diamonds and gemstones Basic to intermediate fabrication skills Engraving, casting, and/or CAD experience is a plus, but not required Any additional higher-level jewelry skills are a strong asset Compensation & Benefits $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package: Health insurance Paid time off (vacation & sick) 401(k) with matching Defined Benefit retirement plan with automatic employer contributions Employee discount Relocation assistance About Krara Jewelers Krara Jewelers is a fast-growing, family-owned fine jewelry brand with a strong online presence and a direct-to-consumer focus.
