Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Materials Analyst is responsible for assisting in maintaining the accuracy of inventory of finished goods, WIP, subassemblies and components on the production floor. To assist in reporting, analyzing and investigating discrepancies on behalf of Raval USA. Must be able to pass criminal background check and 10 panel drug screen. Duties The responsibilities of the Materials Analyst include, but are not limited to: Follow MRP operations linked with the production flows and daily schedule Work in conjunction with the Warehouse personnel to establish sufficient stock levels in production and report discrepancies to the Operations Manager. Report production utilizing the MRP system by consuming components daily and reporting completed work orders. Transfer stock between locations in the MRP system, with scanners and/or in computer Perform physical cycle counts in WIP, weigh count parts if necessary and reconcile WIP in the MRP system Review MRP system weekly for 'leftovers' in WIP, GP and other locations Investigate these discrepancies. Participate in implementing actions to resolve future discrepancies. Coordinate with Planner and/or Purchasing for any shortages that may affect the production schedule Revise MO to correct suffix for components, if needed. Maintain necessary documentation Good communication skills, written and verbal, for dealing with internal and external customers Ensure activities are carried out efficiently and effectively supporting the plant's operations Respect the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy and the resulting procedures Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in MS Office Suite Good analytical skills Strong attention to detail Self-motivated Comfortable working in a face-paced environment Familiar with an MRP/ERP system preferred, but not required Ability to operate a weigh scaleEDUCATION
High school diploma or GED and significant relevant experienceEXPERIENCE
Experience in a manufacturing environment, planning systems Forklift experience preferred but not necessary (please be willing to learn)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting, squatting, walking and bending up to 10 hours per day Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds Exposure to warehouse and production environment Operation of pallet jackSAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Compliance to Safety, Environmental and Health procedures. Full sole shoes are required (sandals, crocks, mules and slip on shoes are not allowed)Job Type:
