Material Coordinator

Overview In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and materials planning to ensure efficient production flow. Your proactive approach will help optimize materials handling, supplier relationships, and logistics operations. Responsibilities Coordinate procurement. Manage inventory levels through accurate inventory control and materials management to prevent shortages or excess stock. Support manufacturing and production planning teams by providing precise materials data and adjusting plans as needed. Oversee logistics operations including warehouse activities, transportation scheduling, and warehouse experience to ensure efficient movement of materials. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize inventory management, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Maintain comprehensive documentation related to purchasing, contracts, inventory levels, and supply chain activities for audit readiness and continuous improvement. Skills Experience with inventory control techniques and warehouse operations to ensure accurate stock levels. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency. Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams

Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
