Picatinny Arsenal, NJ The Material Coordinator will inspect, coordinate and expedite flow of property, supplies within or between departments in accordance with requirements or department supervisors' priorities. Responsibilities Receives, issues, ships and accept turn-ins Government Furnished Property and Contractor Acquired Property and related material. Associated safety, inspection, stock accounting, requisition, stock control, warehousing, re-warehousing, salvage, inventory, turn-in, packaging and shipment. Locates and moves materials and parts between work areas to expedite processing of goods, according to predetermined schedules and priorities, and keeps related records: Reviews schedules and inventory reports to determine types, quantities, and availability of required material and priorities of customer's requests. Locates and moves materials to specified areas, using cart, hand truck, or motorized forklift. Coordinates with department supervisors to determine property requirements. Records quantity and type of supplies and property distributed and on hand. May update and maintain inventory records using computer terminal. Process Transfer Records and all other documentation. Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, property listings, status and location of available property. Complies with established work practices and safety procedures. Properly utilize safety data sheets (SDS) to identify chemical hazards and wear/use personal protective equipment (PPE) needed to ensure personal health and safety. Provides courteous, efficient, and timely service. Strive to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum three (3) years of military or civilian experience in Government Property Administration, and/or material/inventory control; Maintain a valid state-issued Driver's license and applicable Government/Army license Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow oral and written directions. Possess knowledge of fabrics and construction methods. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.Physical Demands:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. . Estimated Salary/Wage Up to USD $29.78/Hr.
