Job Description

Material Handler needed to support inventory control, material movement, order picking, finished product staging, Oracle transactions, and production support activities. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required Manufacturing or industrial setting experience preferred Experience storing, counting, distributing, and staging materials, parts, supplies, and equipment Ability to read and follow written work instructions and operating procedures Computer familiarity and data entry experience Experience using Oracle or another inventory management system preferred Ability to work assigned shifts and required overtime Ability to stand for extended periods and handle small components Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, sit, reach, climb, and balance as required Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 lbs. Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs. Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform work requiring close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Ability to work around moving mechanical parts and repetitive-motion tasks Preferred Skills Experience with material handling in a production environment Experience with inventory labeling, stocking, picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing product Experience completing move orders, pick slips, and inventory transactions Experience with Oracle inventory transactions Experience with
ISO 9001
2015 procedures Experience with 5S procedures Experience supporting continuous improvement projects Laser welding experience preferred Job Responsibilities Store, count, distribute, and stage materials, parts, supplies, and equipment Compile and maintain records of material quantities, stock types, and issued materials Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, placing, and recording materials and supplies in stock Record inventory locations and material transactions in Oracle Pull and verify materials and supplies listed on move orders and pick slips Deliver production materials and supplies to required areas Receive returned materials and supplies from production Verify item numbers, lot numbers, and quantities for returned materials Place returned materials into stock and complete Oracle transactions Prepare finished stock for shipment by picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing product Stage finished product to meet production schedule requirements Complete pre-use inspections on material-handling equipment, including scales Troubleshoot material, inventory, or production support issues Maintain organized workstations, equipment areas, walkways, break rooms, and plant areas using 5S procedures Participate in continuous improvement projects Follow operating procedures, work instructions, and

2015 requirements Support laser welding production activities as assigned
Pay:
