Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Operate lift truck to unload or load trucks and move both raw and in-process material to and from various manufacturing areas as instructed
• Place components on racks or unload components from racks as needed
• Count and repack components and supply production lines
• Place and remove dies from various Presses
• Dump scrap and record weight into proper luger
• Operate various equipment including, weigh and count scales, overhead crane with attachments, coil tipper, scanners, PC and RF
• Complete required paperwork
• Perform 5S duties and participate in Continuous Improvement
• Complete work assignments following established procedures

Requirements For Material Handler:

• Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to reach as required to perform job tasks
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work from assembly drawings, blueprints, process sheets, and standard work instructions
• Willingness and ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime as needed
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
• Follow all safety requirements
• Work hours to meet business needs
• Prior experience operating powered industrial trucks, such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts, Order Pickers, Reach Trucks and Riding Pallet Jacks BeaverDam@qpsemployment.
