Job Title:
Warehouse Material Handler Job Description The Warehouse Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting repair and test operations by ensuring the accurate movement, storage, and handling of electronic equipment and materials within a clean, climate-controlled facility. This position helps maintain smooth production flow, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is not a retail pick-and-pack warehouse; the role requires strong attention to detail, careful product handling, and consistent compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and quality procedures. Responsibilities Receive, stage, and move inbound and outbound materials throughout the facility in an accurate and timely manner. Accurately pull, deliver, and transfer products to production, test, and repair areas to support ongoing operations. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and other warehouse tools; use forklifts if qualified. Maintain accurate inventory transactions using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or internal systems. Pick, pack, and prepare units and materials for shipment according to customer specifications and internal quality standards. Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times to protect electronic equipment and maintain a controlled environment. Perform basic inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to support inventory accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following 5S standards and housekeeping expectations. Support production and repair teams by ensuring materials, components, and equipment are available when needed. Assist with general production, shipping and receiving, unloading, and warehouse packing activities as required. Handle packaging, order picking, and general labor tasks to support daily operational demands. Troubleshoot basic issues related to materials, equipment, or workflow and escalate problems when needed. Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, or manuals when handling equipment or supporting repair operations. Perform other duties as assigned based on operational priorities and business needs. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during the shift. Basic computer or scanner experience, including use of RF scanners. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and documentation. Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production and warehouse operations. Minimum age of 18 and authorization to work in the U.S. Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse or repair environment. Strong attention to safety and detail in all material handling tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks. Experience working in an electronics, manufacturing, or repair environment. Familiarity with inventory systems or WMS (Warehouse Management Systems). Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, or manuals. Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when required. Why Work Here? The operation is fast-paced and production-driven, with clear performance expectations and a strong emphasis on ESD protection, quality, and safety. You will use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners and work with inventory systems or WMS in a modern, technology-enabled environment. The facility operates multiple shifts, including first, second, and third shifts, providing structured schedules across weekdays and Sundays. The work involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and occasionally working at heights while maintaining a neat and professional appearance appropriate for an industrial warehouse and repair setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
