Job Description

Responsible to manage and maintain auxiliary equipment and material/resin levels at work centers per the manufacturing order Pre-stage materials for upcoming set-ups per priority list at designated area. Set up material and auxiliary equipment including grinders and dryers per work center layout, cleaning loader, hoses, feed throat, and filters at the press. Mix materials, concentrate with natural color, or regrind per the manufacturing order. Monitor and maintain auxiliary equipment for proper operations, dryer levels, and check grinder status material for production run and reduce machine downtime. Complete proper identification tags and create labels for material and auxiliary equipment. Complete shift end material report and resolve discrepancies for inventory control. Properly communicate with previous shift mechanics and technicians to determine status of current work. Assist set up technicians to install molds, hook up water and load molding parameters per universal process. Assist with moving material for new manufacturing orders from the warehouse to designated areas needed. Assist with cleaning auxiliary equipment. Ensure remaining runners are ground and regrind used before job is done. Tear down job at end of production run, weigh, and label excess material for inventory control.
Minimum Level of Education/Training/Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent One year of experience Material Handling and/or experience in an injection molding environment preferred

Basic computer skills with ability to learn new software Forklift Certification Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities cs-mus
