Job Description

The Materials Handler maintains accurate inventory of all paper stock in the warehouse. The Materials Handler ensures the paper stock is pulled according to cut-sheet specifications and in conjunction with the pressroom schedule. The Materials Handler is responsible for moving materials and goods, via a power industrial truck (sit-down, stand-up and/or clamp), to and from warehouse storage to appropriate manufacturing areas.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure paper stock is pulled according to customer specifications - meeting the needs of the pressroom schedule. Maintain accurate inventory of all paper stock. Ensure all paper stock is received and available for continuous press operation. Cover all open paper skids to prevent spoilage. Maintain all designated vehicles and equipment. Ensure inventory items in warehouse are maintained. Ensure no product is damaged in warehouse. Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Fork truck experience - minimum 1 year. Standup order picker experience - minimum 1 year. Good troubleshooting, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read and understand written instructions.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50lbs. on a regular basis. Willing to work all shifts. Hearing protection, safety toe shoes. CJK Group is an Equal Opportunity employer.
