DEPARTMENT ENVIRONMENT

Manufacturing  This work area is climate-controlled, and associates typically work independently for most of the day. This department specializes in handling finished goods. The environment is clean and well-maintained, without excessive dust or dirt, but it can be loud due to operational equipment. Employees should be comfortable working in these conditions and maintaining focus in a high-activity setting while working around automated vehicles and within tight/congested spaces

DETAILED JOB DUTIES

Monitor the finished product loop to ensure continuous flow and operational efficiency Monitor all equipment on the loop (wrap machine, scanners, alarm system). Monitor finish good containers for any quality issues. Correct any labeling or pallet issues. Inspect finished goods containers for quality issues and report discrepancies to supervisor. Use the Production Management System to verify product data and resolve rejection issues. Send products requiring further QA inspection up pallet elevator. Correct labeling and pallet issues to maintain packaging standards. Assist in relocating products when dock conveyors are full to prevent bottlenecks. Act as the first point of contact for maintenance regarding receiving loop issues.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb stairs, bend, stoop, and kneel as needed. Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory. Ability to use Production Management System for product tracking. Ability to operate and troubleshoot RF scanners for inventory and data accuracy. Attention to detail for quality checks and labeling accuracy. All employees must maintain a safe and clean workspace at all times through out their shift. Sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing, cleaning up debris as well as "as needed" tasks.
