Responsibilities:

Maintain our material inventory data system like a pro Research and document donated and salvaged items Price incoming materials based on our guidelines Keep our staff in the loop about inventory systems and procedures Keep your work area tidy and organized Provide top-notch customer service Help customers with purchases and questions when needed Foster great communication within the warehouse Create a positive and safe environment for everyone Help improve our department functions Handle customer questions and resolve any issues Follow safety procedures and report any incidents

Requirements:

Excellent attention to detail Passion for our organization's mission Basic computer skills (spreadsheets and word processing) Ability to learn how to use a pallet jack and forklift Knowledge of building and construction materials Great communication skills (both on the phone and via email) 3 solid professional references (sorry, no friends or family) Non-profit experience is a bonus! We're offering a starting pay of $17 per hour, plus some sweet perks like health insurance, paid time off, and even a $200 material credit at Re-use Hawaiʻi. You'll be working full-time (about 40 hours a week) at our Redistribution Center on Salt Lake Boulevard.
