registered organization, is seeking a Materials and Purchasing Manager to become a critical part of our management team and help us bring our strategic plan to reality. Since 1907, we have continued to experience tremendous success and we are proud of our deep-rooted commitment to our customers, our employees, and our community. Phoenix Specialty Mfg. Co. is leading manufacturer in low volume, precise metal stampings such as washers, seals, shims, spacers, and simple brackets. As the Materials and Purchasing Manager you will:

  • During the first 30 days learn our systems, business model, competitive advantages, and strategic plans.
  • Strengthen your team by updating the roles and responsibilities of your departments and launching a documented cross training plan within 3 months.
  • Within 6 months incorporate the procurement of special processes such as plating, heat treating and grinding into your department.
  • Within 12 months, propose and begin implementation of updates to our raw material inventory management system to optimize our inventory turns while keeping Work Order fulfillment greater than 85%.
