Expect:
Leads a work force of merial handlers in a variety of duties in connection with receiving, storing, issuing and shipping, etc. within a warehouse area. Verifies items against approprie documention to ensure correct items and quantities have been received; checks cost and retail prices; reports shortages, overages, damaged items, or any other discrepancies noted to supervisor. Pulls merchandise in accordance with established procedures for shipment, transfers, or customer orders as applicable and directed by system or supervisor, verifying informion shown on respective documents against informion on merchandise or labels. May be assigned to other facility on a temporary or permanent basis as needed. May be required to work a fluctuing work schedule to complete the mission, to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs. independently and objects over 45 lbs. with assistance. Work is performed inside or outside in in close quarters in storage areas or bin aisles, ramps, or on plforms th may be hot, damp, cold, drafty and poorly lighted. EVALUATIONS
Qualificions Wh are we looking for? Knowledge of the general warehouse layout, item identificion codes, basic warehouse procedures, and storage areas in order to place, pull, move, arrange, and rote items per established procedures. Ability to use a computer terminal. Skill in the use of merial handling equipment (MHE) and common hand tools. Must have the ability to train new Merial Handlers in warehouse functions. Ability to complete approprie forms reling to stock descriptions, quantity, unit of issue, and labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing merials. Additional informion
