Materials Rep: Full Time, M-F 5a-1p, Atlantic Health Central Distribution Center

Atlantic Health is seeking a very accountable, responsible, and detail-oriented candidate for the Full-Time position of Materials Representative at their Central Distribution Center in East Hanover. As a Warehouse Materials Representative for Atlantic Health, your primary responsibility is to efficiently pick, pack, and ship medical supplies to ensure that healthcare professionals have the materials they need to provide top-quality care. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail as you handle various medical supplies, often lifting items that weigh up to 50 lbs, and occasionally as much as 75 lbs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a physically demanding position and is committed to contributing to the efficiency of a medical facility's supply chain. The Materials Representative is responsible for providing logistical support to the designated department through routine supply replenishment workflows. The primary focus is on the daily receiving, breakdown, distribution and stocking of generic supplies

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. 2. Counts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. 3. Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify. 4. Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation. 5. Determines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates. 6. Prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping. Prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading. 7. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage. 8. Performs work under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. 9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. Ability to lift up to 70lbs.

Preferred:

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics or relevant area. 2. 1 year of experience working in Material Handling or relevant area. 3. Knowledge of SYFT software.
