RN Required MDS and Case Management experience required Position Summary-Responsibilities include but are not limited to The MDS Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the Medicare and Managed care reimbursement in the facility. This position works collaboratively with all disciplines to ensure regulatory compliance and positive clinical outcomes while maximizing reimbursement. Scheduling and completion of MDSs per Medicare, OBRA, and Managed Care guidelines Updating case managers per Managed Care contract guidelines and promoting positive communications with external agencies Attendance at short term skilled meetings with residents and their families Running Daily PPS and Weekly Medicare & Managed care meetings Updating case managers per Managed Care contract guidelines and promoting positive communications with external agencies Completion and deliverance of denial letters Oversight of Medicare certification process Monitoring of skilled nursing documentation and providing guidance and education to support skilled nursing level Care Plan Development and Integration on all skilled residents. Must have exceptional attention to detail and be computer literate. Experience with Point Click Care a plus! •Salary Starting at $40.00 per hour. Salary will be based on experience.
