MDS Coordinator in Training Designed for PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs Ready for the Next Step Are you a therapy professional looking to grow beyond direct treatment and expand your impact in skilled nursing care? If you are ready for a change, we are willing to train! We are seeking a motivated MDS Coordinator in Training to join our team and learn the clinical, reimbursement, and regulatory side of post-acute care. Compensation based on experience! This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed therapy professional who wants to transition into leadership, interdisciplinary care coordination, and Medicare/PDPM management while receiving hands-on training and mentorship. What You'll Do Train alongside experienced MDS and clinical reimbursement professionals Learn MDS assessment completion, scheduling, and care planning Develop knowledge of PDPM, Medicare regulations, and skilled documentation Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams Help ensure accurate clinical documentation and reimbursement support Participate in quality improvement and compliance processes Assist with care plan meetings and resident-centered care coordination Qualifications Current state licensure in your discipline Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Interest in reimbursement, clinical coordination, and leadership Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams Detail-oriented with strong clinical reasoning skills What We Offer Structured MDS training and mentorship Career advancement opportunities Competitive compensation Supportive team environment Opportunity to expand your clinical and leadership skillset Meaningful role influencing resident outcomes and quality care Why This Role?
