Description:

MDS/Infection Preventionist Unit Manager Full Time ~ Days Sanfield Rehab & Living Center, a progressive facility providing skilled nursing and rehabilitation, long-term, respite and residential care, is seeking a full time MDS/Infection Preventionist Unit Manager. Duties will include managing the entire MDS process, completing assessments and developing care plans, providing education, observation & assistance with all aspects of infection control in accordance with long term care regulations while working closely with the Director of Nursing. This position includes a shared on call rotation including weekends.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A friendly, team-oriented disposition
• Flexibility, and be detailed oriented
• Understanding of PDPM
• Experience in a long term care or rehabilitation setting
• RN required
• CIC certification required (can obtain within 3 months of hire)
• Experience with the MDS is preferred but not required
