• Full-time Equipment & Fleet Mechanic — Taussig Landscape Full-Time | Wamego / Manhattan Area, KS | Competitive Pay | Flexible Schedule About the Role Taussig Landscape is a fast-growing landscape company operating a fleet of 25+ trucks, trailers, and pieces of equipment across multiple crews.

We're looking for a skilled mechanic who can keep that fleet running — diagnose problems fast, make repairs right, and help us build the kind of preventive maintenance program that keeps downtime to a minimum. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You won't be micromanaged. You'll be trusted. What You'll Do Inspect, diagnose, and repair trucks, trailers, and landscape equipment Perform preventive maintenance — oil changes, filters, fluids, belts, blades, hydraulics Identify issues before they become breakdowns — proactive beats reactive Track repair history and maintenance schedules for the full fleet Coordinate with crew leaders and management on equipment status and priorities Keep the shop organized and parts inventoried What We're Looking For Experience working on trucks, trailers, and/or outdoor power equipment Ability to diagnose mechanical issues independently — you don't need someone looking over your shoulder Organized and detail-oriented — you know where things are and keep records current Fleet tracking or maintenance software experience is a strong plus Small engine, diesel, or hydraulic experience preferred Own tools are a bonus but not required — we've got you covered Why Taussig Landscape Flexible schedule — we work with you, not against you No corporate nonsense — relaxed, professional environment Room to grow as the company grows — we're building something real Tools and shop provided Work that matters — keeping 25+ crews moving every single day depends on you To Apply Send your resume to Derek@taussiglandscape.com or apply directly through Indeed.
