Mechanic (Entry Level)

ABOUT THE POSITION

Eco-Seal Home Solutions is seeking a dependable and motivated Entry Level Mechanic to join our shop team in Millersburg, OH. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for mechanical work and is looking to grow their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. This position plays a critical role in keeping our fleet operational and our team on the road — directly impacting our ability to serve our contractors and customers at the highest level.

Starting pay: $18/hour

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance on a mixed fleet including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tire rotations
• Assist senior mechanics with diagnostic and repair work on light and heavy vehicles
• Conduct basic inspections to identify worn or damaged components and communicate findings clearly
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Properly handle and dispose of fluids, parts, and materials in accordance with safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle
• Support the team with general shop tasks and duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Basic mechanical knowledge and a genuine interest in developing your skills
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift 50+ lbs, and work in varying shop conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented attitude
• A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Technical school training or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus but not required

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
