Mechanic Helper

Summary:

The mechanic helper is a part of a maintenance team and is under the direction and supervision of the maintenance supervisor, manager, and director of maintenance. The mechanic helper is responsible for assisting mechanics in the day-to-day maintenance required to keep the production plants operational. II.

Responsibilities:

• The mechanic helper will assist maintenance mechanics in day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Should have a general knowledge of tools and how they are used to perform a task safely and effectively.
• The mechanic helper will be expected to learn the equipment's location and general purpose.
• Have the ability to work within ISO 9001 and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to work and learn in a fast pace changing environment.
• Should be available to work after hours to assist with the occasional call-in.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Climb ladders and work at heights Capable of working in high noise levels, high dust levels, and outdoors

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
