Position Summary This position will be part of the Engineering team and will report to the USA Engineering Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for creatively designing innovative products that make competitive shooters and hunters shoot better. This position will lead design, fit, function, product specification adherence with our manufacturing processes, and work with various functional areas to successfully launch new products in our market space. Responsibilities Lead engineering development of new and existing products from concept through production launch, partnering with the Design team Define product requirements and establish concept, performance, and production criteria with cross-functional stakeholders Prototype and validate working models using a range of fabrication and testing methods Create and maintain CAD models, assemblies, and production drawings optimized for manufacturability, cost, and performance Author design specifications, Bills of Materials, cost analyses, and supporting technical documentation Develop qualification test plans and procedures, and interpret test data to verify product performance Evaluate and select materials, components, and suppliers based on performance, availability, and cost Collaborate with Production, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Procurement to resolve issues and implement improvements Negotiate production processes, tooling, and commercial considerations with internal teams and suppliers Document engineering processes and design rationale to support continuous improvement Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing technical depth with schedule, cost, and quality Contribute broader engineering expertise as needed to support the team Benefits Employer Sponsored Retirement, Matching up to 3% of earnings Gym membership/ammo allowance Employer paid Medical & Dental package (employee 100%, spouse & dependents 50%) Requirements Valid Drivers License Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field Track record of in-depth mechanical product development in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge and experience in Solidworks, design, 3D modeling, and drafting components and assemblies. Familiarity with best practices of part design for machining and injection molding Demonstrated strong creative thinking and problem-solving; ability to deep-dive and use first principles thinking to solve complex engineering challenges Ability to excel in fast-paced and challenging environments Occasional travel to vendor production facilities and trade shows Effective written and verbal communication skills
