Job Description

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer who thrives on solving problems, improving processes, and making a real impact on the plant floor. As a Mechanical Engineer at Webco, you'll be at the center of operations—working closely with production, quality, and leadership teams to improve performance, efficiency, and safety.
You will:
Analyze and improve production processes, equipment, and workflows Design and implement solutions that enhance safety, quality, and cost efficiency Lead and support process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and work measurement to establish standards Use data and engineering principles to identify root causes and solve problems Develop reports with clear, actionable recommendations Support facility layout, material flow, and manpower optimization Partner cross-functionally to improve production performance and reduce waste Develop and maintain SOPs and support quality and audit initiatives Train and support teams on new processes and improvements Monitor results and drive continuous improvement
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Engineering Technology Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
Preferred:

You'll be hands-on in a dynamic manufacturing setting, with: Exposure to equipment, noise, and production activity Required PPE in plant areas (hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes) Physical activity including walking, standing, and occasional lifting Why Webco?
