Performance Bonus:
up to 10-15% annually About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Equipment Technician to support the assembly, testing, installation, and service of industrial equipment. This role is primarily focused on mechanical assembly and equipment builds , with additional responsibilities in basic electrical wiring, troubleshooting, warehouse operations, customer support, and light documentation and technical support. You'll work directly with real equipment every day—building systems, identifying issues, supporting installations, and helping improve equipment through practical, real-world feedback. This is not a desk-based engineering role — this is a hands-on, shop-floor position. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and improving industrial equipment in a hands-on environment. What You'll Do Assemble industrial equipment from engineering drawings Perform basic electrical wiring and system integration Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Support equipment startup and functional testing Update existing drawings, layouts, and simple parts in SolidWorks Assist with design improvements to enhance equipment reliability Support equipment installation and customer site activities (10-15% travel, typically short, planned trips) Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse/shop organization as needed Help improve and maintain BOMs based on real-world builds What We're Looking For Enjoys hands-on mechanical work and building systems Comfortable working in a shop environment using tools and machinery Strong interest in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Experience building or fixing things (projects, automotive, fabrication, etc.)
  • Comfortable working independently in a hands-on shop-floor environment
  • Interest in using CAD as a support tool, not a full-time desk role
  • Willingness to support a variety of shop, warehouse, and field tasks as part of a small team Qualifications Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience 1-3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops accepted) Basic understanding of electrical concepts (voltage, current, wiring, components) Ability to follow drawings and assembly instructions Basic experience with SolidWorks (or similar) Nice to Have Experience with pneumatic systems or industrial equipment Familiarity with fabrication or shop tools Field installation or service experience Experience modifying simple parts in CAD Compensation & Benefits $30-$35/hour based on experience Overtime opportunities available Performance bonus: up to 10-15% annually Monthly health stipend Paid time off and holidays Flexible work environment Growth & Development Work directly with experienced engineers and technicians Gain full lifecycle exposure: build → test → install → support Opportunity to grow into advanced technical, troubleshooting, and equipment design support roles Why Join Titan Abrasive Titan Abrasive designs and builds industrial air blast systems used for surface preparation, cleaning, and finishing across U.
