Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Mechanical Installer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation, assembly, and commissioning of commercial and industrial mechanical systems, including chillers, HVAC equipment, and other related mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on installation experience, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and secure mechanical equipment, including chillers, HVAC systems, air handlers, pumps, piping, and related components Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Perform equipment layout, alignment, and system integration Install ductwork, hydronic piping, refrigerant piping, and mechanical supports Assist with system start-up and commissioning Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, building codes, and safety standards Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on job sites Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment Troubleshoot installation issues as they arise Required Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in mechanical installation Proven experience with chiller systems and HVAC installation Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping, and equipment rigging Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in various conditions and environments while maintaining a professional demeanor. Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, pipe threader, and diagnostic devices Preferred Qualifications Trade school certification or apprenticeship completion Experience in commercial or industrial settings Welding or brazing experience Equipment rigging certification Work Schedule Monday through Friday Overtime available Occasional weekend work available 75% of work to be on the road
