This role is responsible for ensuring machinery operates efficiently through preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and equipment to minimize downtime Perform preventative maintenance (lubrication, inspections, component checks) Dismantle, assemble, install, and modify mechanical equipment and components Fabricate or install replacement parts as needed Maintain and repair sensors and mechanical systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Maintain accurate maintenance and labor documentation Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment Assist in training team members and support continuous improvement efforts Communicate equipment and supply needs to leadership Qualifications Minimum 5 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment Technical training in maintenance mechanics or equivalent hands-on experience High school diploma or GED (or additional relevant experience in lieu of diploma) Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents Forklift certification required Welding experience preferred Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Detail-oriented with strong communication skills Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels (hearing protection required) Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) Exposure to machinery, oils, and industrial materials

Pay:

$33.00 - $35.00 per hour
