Mechanical Test Engineer

Job Description:

Mechanical Test Engineer We are seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of motors and motor-driven systems. This role focuses on motor testing, fixture design, and dynamometer testing. The engineer will design and build test stands, assemble fixtures, execute tests, and document results, working closely with Electrical Engineers.

Required:

-Bachelors degree in engineering field -3+ years of relevant experience Responsibilities Design and build motor test fixtures and test stands. Perform testing. Apply GD&T to fixtures and convert 3D CAD models into detailed 2D manufacturing drawings. Conduct mechanical analysis. Validate designs through testing and troubleshooting. Document test setups, results, and findings. Support multiple test programs simultaneously. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Morton Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
