Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding Registered Nurse role focused on Medical-Surgical care. Schedule/Hours:
Contract position 12-hour shifts
Qualifications:
Valid and unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience Proficient in patient assessment, documentation, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment Current BLS certification (required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients in the medical-surgical unit Monitor patients, administer prescribed medications, and document clinical observations accurately Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to develop and implement patient care plans Educate and support patients and their families on treatment and post-discharge care Respond appropriately during emergencies and exercise clinical judgment in prioritizing care Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and state/federal regulations This position offers a chance to expand your expertise and thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment, while positively influencing patients during their critical recovery periods.
