Job description We are seeking part-time Medical Technicians to be integral parts of our healthcare team, assisting in the delivery of medical care to our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support to nursing staff in administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and record vital signs, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive personalized and high-quality care. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow established protocols. Ensure all resident medication orders are current and correct including dosage, change in dosage, and temporarily or permanently discontinued. Ensures that all centrally stored medication is inaccessible to residents or staff who are not authorized to handle medication. Observe residents for any reactions and/or side effects of medication and report to the resident physician. Documents any changes in the resident's health condition or mental status. Assist residents with activities of daily need including but not limited to bathing dressing, grooming, dental care, and incontinence care as needed Documents daily care.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Technician or relevant certification. Previous experience in an assisted living or healthcare setting is preferred. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients if required.
