- + Prepare, review, and finalize complex Medicaid cost reports and supplemental payment program filings (e.
- Responsibilities may change as the department and PCG grow and as deemed necessary by management.
- Required Skills
- Ability to analyze account fluctuations and year-to-year variances.
- Ability to identify unusual items or issues and to correct them going forward.
- Ensure reporting is consistent with generally accepted accounting (GAAP) and government accounting standard board (GASB) principles.
- Effective ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams.
- Excellent organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills. + Ability to analyze complex financial data and clearly communicate conclusions in writing and verbally. + Strong written communication skills for workpapers and audit responses. + Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Microsoft Exce

- Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Experience with Medicare regulations and reimbursement manual.
- Experience with applicable Federal and State Medicaid policies and regulations relating to healthcare reimbursement. + Experience working with audits and regulatory reviews.
- Minimum 2-4 years with accounting experience.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + 1-2 years' experience with Medicaid and/or Medicare cost reports, grant reporting, or regulated reimbursement programs. + Familiarity with government accounting principles + CPA or progress toward CPA licensure.

Compensation:
- Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
Range:
$75,000 - $85,000 PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.EEO Statement:
