Job Description

Medical Assistant - Lab & Clinical Support Tri County Hematology and Oncology Associates Position Summary Tri County Hematology and Oncology Associates is seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support both lab and clinical operations. This role is responsible for assisting with patient flow, obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and preparing patients for provider visits. This role focuses on patient rooming, obtaining vital signs, performing blood draws, and ensuring accurate documentation to support provider visits. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs Perform blood draws (venipuncture) Prepare patients for provider visits Accurately document all patient information in the EMR system Label and handle lab specimens properly Maintain clean and organized work areas Patient Care & Communication Provide compassionate and respectful care to all patients Communicate clearly with providers, nurses, and lab staff Maintain patient confidentiality at all times Experience with EMR systems required Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Full-time | Day shift | No weekends Apply Today Join a team focused on quality patient care, accuracy, and strong clinical support.
