Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team, providing essential support across various medical specialties including dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, and outpatient clinics. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient care and clinical excellence are prioritized. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, comprehensive knowledge of medical procedures, and excellent patient service capabilities. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality care while supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient, inpatient, or emergency settings Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information and treatment plans Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Support medical-surgical, internal medicine, or emergency medicine teams by preparing exam rooms and assisting during procedures Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations related to medication administration and infection control protocols Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required (New Grads Welcome) Proven experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics preferred Fluent in Spanish is required Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as emergency medicine or inpatient units Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and clinical tasks
