Medical Assistant

Job Summary Max Staffing LLC is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support a healthcare team in a clinical setting. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and comfortable supporting both patient care and daily clinic operations. The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers, patients, and care team members to help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Prepare patients for office visits and assist with routine clinical workflows Room patients and record height, weight, vital signs, medical history, and patient concerns Assist providers with exams, procedures, and patient care tasks Support patient flow and help maintain an efficient clinic schedule Perform basic lab procedures, specimen collection, and in-house testing as needed Administer injections or medications as allowed by scope and site requirements Prepare, clean, and restock exam rooms before and after patient visits Assist with patient discharge instructions, follow-up scheduling, and care coordination Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record Follow clinic policies, OSHA standards, HIPAA requirements, and confidentiality guidelines Support inventory, supply ordering, phone coverage, and other administrative duties as needed Assist with medical translation or interpreting if qualified Requirements Completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred Completed Medical Assistant externship hours preferred Medical Assistant certification preferred Current CPR or BLS certification preferred Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Experience in an outpatient clinic, primary care, urgent care, or health center setting is a plus Phlebotomy experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working with patients of all ages and backgrounds Basic computer and electronic health record experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required Reliable attendance and professional demeanor required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to bend, kneel, twist, and move throughout the clinic as needed Ability to assist patients onto exam tables when needed Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation Benefits May Include Flexible schedule Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Paid sick time Referral program Retirement plan options Professional development opportunities

Experience Medical Assistant:
