Description Medical Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This vital role supports physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring patient comfort
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens and perform basic laboratory tests
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records accurately
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and health maintenance

Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR), and basic clinical procedures
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
