Job Description
Description Medical Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This vital role supports physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring patient comfort
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Collect and process laboratory specimens and perform basic laboratory tests
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records accurately
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and health maintenance

Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus
- Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR), and basic clinical procedures
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
