Medical Assistant Boston, KY 40107 $17 an hour - Full-time $17 an hour - Full-time Are you searching for a meaningful career where you can support and make a difference in the lives of the people we serve? We are seeking to fill the Assistant Program Manager position who will supervise care for adults with intellectual & physical disabilities. Candidate must have excellent written and spoken communication skills. This position requires excellent organizational and computer skills as well as the ability to keep up with a high-demand setting.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent attendance and punctuality Knowledge of medical terminology Provide excellent customer service Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Communication skills Phone etiquette Caring nature Helpful Team player Diligent Must complete all required training as outlined by DDID regulations, including first aid and CPR certification. Must be able to read, understand and implement written and oral instructions Must pass a criminal background check Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing.Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Medical Office role. The Medical office role requires frequent: walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, sitting, reaching overhead, and lifting up to fifty (50) pounds. Staff must meet applicable federal, state and/or local health requirements relating to communicable diseases. Work is performed mostly indoors in a temperature-controlled environment, except on occasion when participants are transported outside of the Day Training.General Duties & Responsibilities:
Medical appointments Medication management (delivery & stock) Computer skills (Typing, scanning, uploading) Staff scheduling Chart audits Residential audits Progress note review Complete monthly summaries Assisting Day Program floor staff Incident reports & investigations Maintaining up to date participant medical information Charting on required government sites and internal documentsRESIDENTIAL ON-CALL REQUIRED EVERY
