Medical Assistant

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.

Important:

Please note that our Welaka office is not yet opened and your initial training will be completed at either our Crescent City or Palatka location. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Obtain Vital Signs Assist during medical examinations and procedures Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in patient management software Reliable transportation
