Job Description

Now Hiring:
Medical Assistant - Family Practice/Geriatrics We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and organized Medical Assistant to join our busy family practice and geriatrics office. This is a fast-paced environment, and we are looking for someone who can multitask efficiently while providing compassionate patient care. Spanish-speaking preferred.
Responsibilities:
Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Administering injections and medications as ordered Performing blood draws and collecting urine specimens Assisting providers with patient care and procedures Processing medication prior authorizations Completing radiology/imaging authorizations Managing patient calls, messages, and follow-ups Documenting accurately in EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks (eCW) Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care Maintaining organized patient records and workflow Assisting with administrative and clinical duties as needed Traveling to other clinic locations if needed
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experience will be considered Experience in family practice, internal medicine, or geriatrics preferred Knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR system preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume office Professional communication and teamwork skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if needed Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
