Medical Assistant

Description:

Medication Administration, Manage Med Room, assist with managing staff on floor, Charting, Filing, Sending Dr's Orders to Pharmacy, organizing medications in med room, work close with facility Office Manager and Facility RN to ensure continuity of care, work close with Home Health and Hospice Agencies to ensure resident continuity of care, manage resident's medical appointments, communicate with family members and other staff in order to ensure residents continuity of care, assist residents with toileting and showering as needed, assist resident with ADL's as needed, assist residents with transfers as needed.

Requirements:

Some Knowledge of basic medical terminology, some knowledge of medications, People skills, be able to work with all kinds of people and personalities, have compassion, be caring, flexible, able to be on time, be reliable, trustworthy, some supervisory skills, and patience.
