Medical Assistant- Family Practice | Full Time Technicians / Patient Care Support Peterson Health Medical Plaza (PHMP)
DESCRIPTION

Shift Information:
This position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm This position is located our Peterson Health Medical Plaza location.

They are responsible for providing support for one or more persons. Frequently interacts with front desk staff. May perform diagnostic testing, maintain supply inventory levels, and clean/maintain medical equipment.
Required Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Graduate of medical assistant program or military MA program.
Required Skills:
Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment. Computer literacy and familiarity with operations of basic office equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Athena, Meditech, and/or other electronic health records software, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant certification; current
BLS Required Experience:
Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care under the direction of the provider and supervisory staff.
Preferred Experience:
1 year experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
