Non-Block Schedule Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves direct patient care, assisting providers during examinations and procedures, and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic workflow. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments Prepare patients for visits, including recording vital signs and medical histories Perform basic clinical duties such as phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection (as applicable) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms; maintain medical equipment Provide patient education and follow-up instructions as directed by providers Support front-office tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient communication Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent hands-on experience Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with EMR systems For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
