We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant I to support our healthcare providers and enhance patient experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process Obtain and document patient medical histories and current health information accurately Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures and examinations Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready Collect and process laboratory specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests as directed Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits - Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care and answer general questions Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Manage and update patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification as needed At Symphony Spine, Pain and Neuro Alliance, we foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and compassionate care. Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant certification program preferred Prior experience in a clinical setting is a plus Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and EHR systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a professional demeanor Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
