Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. This role combines clinical responsibilities with medical administrative support, offering a vibrant environment that values proactive, compassionate, and detail-oriented professionals. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences. All positions are paid, recognizing your valuable contributions from day one. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting vital signs accurately. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit. Administer medications and injections following established protocols and safety standards. Support physicians and healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as X-ray processing, basic life support (BLS), and ICD coding for accurate billing. Operate EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to document patient information efficiently and securely. Manage medical supplies, maintain equipment readiness and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Experience Proven experience in Clinical Setting, such as hospitals or free standing clinics. Demonstrating adaptability under pressure. Familiarity with procedures such as intake processes, vital signs collection, ICD coding, and medication administration. Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatric ICU (PICU), or internal medicine patients is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems and medical terminology to ensure precise documentation and communication. Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments such as Hospital or busy outpatient clinics while maintaining high standards of patient service and safety.
