Medical Assistant / Medical Scribe We are seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Assistant / Medical Scribe to join our busy cardiology practice. Previous cardiology office experience is preferred, but not required. Scribing experience/fast, detailed typing experience greatly preferred. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and provides compassionate, professional patient care. The ideal candidate is responsible, dependable, and prioritizes work as much as our medical providers. As an MA/ Scribe, you play a vital role in our office. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs Perform EKGs Check pacemakers and defibrillators Assist with treadmill stress testing and Holter monitor placement Retrieve test results and prepare patient charts in the EMR system (eClinicalWorks) Answer phone calls and schedule appointments Clean and prepare exam rooms after each patient visit Scribe for providers when needed Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred Prior cardiology experience is a plus Experience with EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks, is preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume office Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with the team
