Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greets patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner at all times. Maintains patient confidentiality, respect and HIPAA guidelines at all times. Assists patients and providers preparing with examinations, minor procedures within the office, phlebotomy and/or collection of specimens. Performs blood pressures, vital signs and physical assessment of patient through triage Performs ancillary testing as ordered by providers. Completes clear, accurate documentation within the patient medical record. Maintains all clinical areas with supplies necessary to function daily. Keeps exam rooms and work areas within the office clean and sanitary at all times. Assists with making patient appointments outside of the office. Assists with telephone triage, refilling prescription medication as directed by providers.

High School Diploma or equivalent.Licensure/Certifications:
Certification as Medical Assistant and/or completion of Medical Assistant certification program preferred BLS withing six weeks of hireExperience Preferred:
